Neftalem “Nef” Mekbib is the newest staff member of the BEH team.  After graduating from American University, Nef worked as a court reporter and most recently as a paralegal in landlord/tenant law.  He has a thirst for knowledge and is excited to contribute to the firm’s work with local governments.

In addition to his role at BEH, Nef also works on the weekends at a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Outside of the office, he enjoys watching TV shows and movies, playing soccer and basketball, hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.  Nef particularly enjoys having the law dogs in the office and has quickly discovered the joys pet ownership can bring.  He now aspires to become a dog owner one day.
