Lydia I. Fisher
Lydia I. Fisher joined BEH in 2025 and is excited about providing legal support to Oregon communities for all of their diverse needs.
Lydia was committed to public service prior to beginning her law career through her work teaching in public colleges and universities in Oregon and Washington, and mentoring in Oregon public schools.
Before coming to BEH, Lydia clerked at the Oregon Department of Justice in the Natural Resources Section, gaining experience with land use regulation, water law, environmental compliance, public lands management, public meetings and records law, rule drafting, and intergovernmental actions and agreements.
Lydia lives in Portland with her family, and in her free time she loves spending time with them outdoors, preferably in motion in the woods or on a mountain, hiking, backpacking, biking, skiing, swimming, and sometimes at home gardening.
